We are able to advise on all aspects of the formation of charitable trusts, including negotiation with the Charity Commissioners, advising on Charity Law, drafting and preparation of Trust Deeds and obtaining charitable registration for Charity Commissioners. We provide trustees of charities with advice on their responsibilities, obligations and liabilities. Where disputes arise between trustees we advise as to the interpretation of trust deed.
With the assistance of our Commercial Real Estate Department, we provide advice on all aspects of acquisition and disposal of property held by charities.
Charitable trusts are led by Arthur Chapman.
