Children’s Liver Disease Foundation is the UK’s leading charity fighting childhood liver disease. Their mission is to be the voice for babies, children, young people and their families and adults diagnosed with liver disease in childhood ensuring that childhood liver diseases are understood, prevented and outcomes optimised through excellent research, effective information and emotional support.
I nominated Children’s Liver Disease Foundation as my younger brother, Dylan had to have two liver transplants as well as many more various operations by the age of five and so this charity is very close to my heart.
It is not a very well known charity but they do fantastic work in helping families through difficult times such as having a child in need of a liver transplant and they also fund vital research into childhood liver disease. By donating to this great charity from our Christmas Charity Fund, we can support the work that they do and hopefully help raise their profile.
For more information, have a look at the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation website.
