We are pleased and excited to announce that our new iPhone Application: Site Surveyor™ is now available as a free download from the Apple iTunes Store.
Designed by Croftons’ Commercial Real Estate experts with surveyors in mind, Site Surveyor™ will help save surveyors and their clients time and of course, money.
This unique app allows surveyors to record information accurately and quickly when preparing a Schedule of Condition at the start of a lease. Surveyors can use their iPhone to record audio or written comments and link them to photographs in the Schedule of Condition and to store the location of a property using the device’s GPS.
Real Estate specialist and the person behind the development of Site Surveyor™ Bob Agnew tells us more;
We know how important it is for surveyors to act quickly when preparing a Schedule of Condition for clients. We know that the premises surveyors visit are often in remote locations and we know that surveyors often need to park some distance, in time-sensitive zones, from these premises.
Therefore, with these issues in mind we have designed an iPhone app to streamline the tasks involved in gathering and collating information for a Schedule of Condition by following an easy to use step by step procedure.
The app avoids the need to bring a separate mobile phone, camera, dictaphone and note book on site as it allows the user to record photographic evidence and the corresponding commentary on one device.
The app also allows the user to email the information collected onsite immediately to as many email recipients as needed, whilst, retaining the ability to take calls. It is still a phone at the end of the day!
Cleverly, the app stores the information in a “cloud server”, a virtual hard-drive managed by Croftons’ app specialists. Job records can be stored in the “cloud” for up to one month.
Site Surveyor™ also has a built-in GPS tracking system enabling the app to give you directions to your car and alert you to your meter or parking arrangements expiring.
Site Surveyor™ can be downloaded, free of charge, straight from the iTunes Store or by searching for Site Surveyor™ in the app store on your iPhone.
